Description of problem: The /var/log/messages always report: spice: remote-viewer execution failed Even if the spice-xpi client execution suceeded. The script is flawed because of pipe usage. The easiest is just to remove that line: logger -t spice "remote-viewer execution failed"
Alternatively, you can "set -o pipefail" and check "$?" (assuming that it's not logger that fails)

Still appears to be relevant upstream, at least the indicated line in comment #0 is still there. But since this has low impact and the bug has limped along for quite a while, closing it as EOL
