when I compiled binutils-2.13(last stable) for PPC(cross compile),
complained like below...

gcc 3.2 20020903 (Red Hat Linux 8.0 3.2-7)

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. ./configure --target=powerpc-linux --prefix=/some/prefix/
2. make

Actual Results:  compile error

Expected Results:  no compile error

No, you should upgrade. This ought to be fixed in rawhide gcc.
