isMagic appears to be a partition device attribute, which is at the same level as a BTRFS device. BTRFS volume inherits from BTRFS deice, neither of which have an isMagic property. They all inherit from StorageDevice so it might make sense to move the isMagic property up to StorageDevice, or duplicate it within BTRFS device.
Re-assigning to our storage expert for his opinion.
This should be fixed in the f18 beta tc1.
