Please include a file /lib/systemd/ntp-units.d/40-chrony.list in your package including a single line only: chronyd.service This will tell systemd's timedated mechanism (which is used by GNOME among others) about chrony so that the user can easily enable/disable NTP. We didn't want to hardcode the names of the various NTP implementaitons hence we made timedated collect the information from this directory. Please also drop /lib/systemd/system/systemd-timedated-ntp.target.wants/chronyd.service from your package. It turned out to be bad idea and is what we are replacing by this ntp-units.d/ logic above. Sorry for this chaotic forth and back on this topic. Please have a look at the NTP package if you need and example how to do this right. THanks!
I think this was recently fixed in chrony-1.27-0.5.pre1.git1ca844.fc18, now in the testing repository. Please let me know if that's not the case. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 846303 ***
