unoconv is missing
Last modified: 2014-06-13 08:49:28 EDT
Description of problem:
we need unoconv to allow gnome-documents to render office documents
*** Bug 837234 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Cosimo - should gnome-documents Require: this?
Caolan - are you (or someone on your team) willing to maintain this?
caolanm->notting: dtardon (on our team) is unoconv fedora maintainer, so he'd be the natural choice for rhel maintainer.
OK. Do you think it's a reasonable package for RHEL?

it's needed by gnome-documents. As otherwise this limits online documents feature a lot. So yes, it's reasonable package!

Yeah I think it should - It looks to me like we could also use the Libreoffice binary directly in headless mode to perform the conversion, instead of depending on unoconv, but that's what ultimately unoconv does already. I don't think it's worth trying to avoid the dependency (and if it proves to be problematic we can always change this in the future).
OK. releng, can you import this?
unoconv-0.5-2.el7 is already in
I don't see unoconv package in latest nightly (RHEL-7.0-20130109.n.0), could you please check what's wrong?
Bill, can you add it to comps?
I think it's the reason why it doesn't get pulled in.
Added where gnome-documents is.
unoconv-0.6-1.el7.noarch now in the tree and working
