Description Mounir Lamouri 2012-11-16 12:35:25 UTC
Description of problem:
python-pip package's description is incorrect.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open packagekit UI.
2. Search for "pip"
3. See description of "python-pip"

Actual results:
"Pip installs packages. Python 3 packages. [...]"

Expected results:
"Pip installs packages. [...]"

Additional info:
Unless this "Python 3 packages" has nothing to do with the version used by pip?

Comment 1 Fedora End Of Life 2013-04-03 17:49:49 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 19 development cycle.
Changing version to '19'.

(As we did not run this process for some time, it could affect also pre-Fedora 19 development
cycle bugs. We are very sorry. It will help us with cleanup during Fedora 19 End Of Life. Thank you.)

Comment 2 Fedora Blocker Bugs Application 2013-04-11 06:55:51 UTC
Proposed as a Blocker and Freeze Exception for 19-alpha by Fedora user tflink using the blocker tracking app because:

testing a new version of the blocker tracking app

Comment 3 Tim Flink 2013-04-11 14:56:53 UTC
This was not supposed to be proposed as a blocker or FE, the blocker tracking app was pointed at the wrong bugzilla instance.

Apologies for the noise.

Comment 4 Raphael Groner 2013-05-03 21:27:49 UTC
I can reproduce that bug.

Comment 5 Kevin Kofler 2013-05-06 16:45:34 UTC
How hard can it be to flip a single bit in a specfile (change a 3 to a 2)? I'm fixing this in Rawhide.

Comment 7 Kevin Kofler 2013-05-06 17:00:41 UTC
5335975 build (rawhide, /python-pip:9a8af72d4d29610401d5b09e5ea230dd4a78e351) completed successfully

Hey now, send the blame for the delay this where it's appropriate - at me, not Jon.

Yes, it should have been done a while ago. I've lost several tasks in my bugzilla email folder as of late and am in the process of re-organizing so it doesn't happen so much in the future.

I'll be rebuilding for #958377 in the next day or so and will be fixing at least F19 as well at that time

Thanks for the fix, Kevin.
