Potential duplicate: bug 867033

Comment 1 David 2013-02-08 20:41:17 UTC
Happened the same on a new Dell Inspiron with Fedora 18 LXDE. I had recently installed rfkill to unlock the wireless.

Comment 2 David 2013-02-19 12:03:12 UTC
Network manager has been updated to the lastest version, but this problem persists.

Comment 3 György Nagy 2013-02-24 13:06:50 UTC
I brought back my laptop from sleeping state.
The laptop is HP 655 with
04:00.0 Network controller: Atheros Communications Inc. AR9485 Wireless Network Adapter (rev 01)

Package: kernel
OS Release: Fedora release 18 (Spherical Cow)

Comment 4 David 2013-03-07 21:09:18 UTC
The computer was connected to a wireless. After some time, it will stop seeing any network at all (even though there are more than 10 in my building), and will not connect back until the computer is restarted. This will happen at random times.

Package: kernel
OS Release: Fedora release 18 (Spherical Cow)

Comment 5 Josh Fitch 2013-03-08 16:16:30 UTC
Unsure... opened laptop (Acer Aspire One 725-0802) and when I unlocked it from suspend I got a kernel package error notification.

Package: kernel
OS Release: Fedora release 18 (Spherical Cow)

Comment 6 David 2013-03-08 20:42:51 UTC
Restoring the computer back from hybernation. Everything seemed to work fine, though.

Package: kernel
OS Release: Fedora release 18 (Spherical Cow)

Comment 7 Arthur Enright 2013-03-13 04:43:20 UTC
Coming out of resume when the wireless network tried to connect it forced the laptop into hibernate. On boot up/resume from hibernate it seems to have connected correctlt.

Package: kernel
OS Release: Fedora release 18 (Spherical Cow)

Comment 8 markusN 2013-03-17 21:00:56 UTC
Resumed from suspend

Package: kernel
OS Release: Fedora release 18 (Spherical Cow)

Comment 9 F. J. Simon 2013-03-18 03:31:35 UTC
Resuming from suspend/hibernate status, disconnecting from wireless network and turning off wireless prior to suspending/hibernating reduced frequency of the bug avoiding the need of a reboot.

Same issue on two OS versions, F17 and F18. Expect this is a driver issue.
