Decription of problem:
When execute "rhc server", input whatever password it can work. So, it's not necessary to input the  password.
On production environment, it don't let user input password.

Don't input any password.

We'd like to get this fixed upstream instead and pick it up during our next rebase.  I'm leaving the ownership the same though.

Just tried this on a new devenv and it is fixed upstream, and is in the latest Enterprise 1.2 puddles as well.
