Description of problem:
I was able to reproduce the problem in the X and text enviroments. When 
anaconda goes to compile package lists it seems to die.

red hat 9 install iso's

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Boot from CD
2.Select packages
3.select next
    

Actual Results:  Bug report 

Expected Results:  install of packages
