Description Ivan Romanov 2013-01-25 00:35:41 UTC
Version in Fedora is 1.02 but the latest version of tidyp is 1.04.
http://www.tidyp.com/
Please update package.

Comment 1 Paul Howarth 2013-01-25 09:14:31 UTC
There are no significant changes in 1.04 but the library soname is different - what's the point of updating?

Comment 2 Ivan Romanov 2013-01-25 09:23:11 UTC
Really. But it confused me and I spend time to obtain sources, find tag 1.02, find 1.04 and in the end find a diference of 1.02 and 1.04.

If it confused me. In the next time it can confuse someone else who want to use tidyp.

Did you not check that nobody else had reported this issue first (e.g. Bug #665633)?

Another problem with 1.04 is that upstream forgot to include the test suite in the release tarball. There's been a pull request (https://github.com/petdance/tidyp/pull/14) to fix that upstream for 2 years but nothing has happened.

Comment 5 Ivan Romanov 2013-01-25 09:51:23 UTC
I did not check. Sorry.

Comment 6 Fedora End Of Life 2013-04-03 16:59:33 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 19 development cycle.
Changing version to '19'.

(As we did not run this process for some time, it could affect also pre-Fedora 19 development
cycle bugs. We are very sorry. It will help us with cleanup during Fedora 19 End Of Life. Thank you.)
