Haiyang, just to make sure I understand it correctly: The node needs to have the name given in iscsi_name before it can connect to the target given in iscsi_target_name?
http://gerrit.ovirt.org/#/c/11466/ Untested for now. Mike or Joey, do you know if the dst path (/etc/iscsi) is writable at that time?
Test version: rhev-hypervisor6-6.5-20131017.0.iso ovirt-node-3.0.1-4.el6 Test step: 1.Auto install rhev-h with with "BOOTIF=eth0 storage_init=/dev/sda,/dev/sdc iscsi_init=/dev/sdc iscsi_name=iqn.1994-05.com.redhat:rhevh-2 iscsi_target_name=iqn.2001-05.com.equallogic:0-8a0906-b961f7d03-e5d263eebe24c985-s1rhevh2 iscsi_install iscsi_server=10.66.90.100:3260 firstboot" parameter after the install has completed, meet boot this rhev-h failed issue due to: iscsistart: initiator reported error (24 - iSCSI login failed due to authorization failure)(Seen error info console.png) so need re-assigned this bug again.
Test version: rhevh-6.5-20131031.1.0.iso ovirt-node-3.0.1-7.el6 Test step: 1.Auto install rhev-h with with "BOOTIF=eth0 storage_init=/dev/sda,/dev/sdc iscsi_init=/dev/sdc iscsi_name=iqn.1994-05.com.redhat:rhevh-2 iscsi_target_name=iqn.2001-05.com.equallogic:0-8a0906-b961f7d03-e5d263eebe24c985-s1rhevh2 iscsi_install iscsi_server=10.66.90.100:3260 firstboot" parameter after the install has completed, boot rhevh and login it success. so Auto install RHEV-H success with "iscsi_install" parameter for this especial iscsi storage that need set initiatorname to discovery targets. so this bug has been fixed, after the status of this bug change into "ON_QA", i will verify it.
