Description of problem: System panic (unable to conitnue install) while
installing Red Hat 8.0 from CD using customized boot.img

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):8.0

How reproducible:build customized boot.img using /boot/config-2.4.18-14BOOT Copy
boot.img to a floppy. Boot from floppy to install from CD. System panic.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Build customized boot.img using /boot/config-2.4.18-14BOOT 
2. Copy boot.img to floppy
3. Boot from floppy to install
4. System panic.

Actual results: Unable to continue the installing process.

Expected results: Continue the installing process.

This is not a supported configuration.

There is information available from Red Hat users on how to update to customized
boot images if you search around the Internet.
