Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Fedora 18 2. Update to latest 3. Boot up, check Xorg.0.log, see it fallback to VESA Actual results: Driver load failure. Expected results: Accelerated video support. xorg-x11-drv-neomagic-1.2.7-2.fc18 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 18. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/xorg-x11-drv-neomagic-1.2.7-2.fc18
xorg-x11-drv-neomagic-1.2.7-2.fc18 fixes loading of the module. Hardware has other issues with XAA now.
Driver ultimately needs to be updated to support EXA. Displays black screen and hangs the system entirely without XAA support in Xorg 1.13.
xorg-x11-drv-neomagic-1.2.7-2.fc18 has been pushed to the Fedora 18 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
