Does this still happen on 3.7.9 or 3.8.2 in updates-testing?

Comment 2 Rusty 2013-03-12 16:31:39 UTC
I am unable to run the 3.7 or 3.8 kernels because it does not support my version of nVIDIA chip set in the driver.

Which driver? Do previous kernels work with that driver?

Comment 4 Rusty 2013-03-12 17:10:25 UTC
(In reply to comment #3) The latest kernel I can run is 3.6.11-5.fc17.x86_64.

Comment 5 Josh Boyer 2013-03-12 17:21:23 UTC
Which driver do you mean by driver?

Comment 6 Josh Boyer 2013-03-28 17:29:14 UTC
This bug is being closed with INSUFFICIENT_DATA as there has not been a
response in 2 weeks. If you are still experiencing this issue,
please reopen and attach the relevant data from the latest kernel you are
running and any data that might have been requested previously.

Comment 7 Rusty 2013-03-28 19:16:51 UTC
I am sorry I could not figure out which driver to list but, I figured it out and believe it is the "nouveau" driver or one in that family that controls the display.

Comment 8 Rusty 2013-04-01 20:20:59 UTC
(In reply to comment #7) I am sorry I do not know much about the modules that are loaded. The display does not work and using the lsmod command this is the best I can come up with.

See also new bug 947210 for the just released kernel.
