Description of problem:
I've messed up my panel so I decided to use the command:
$ mate-panel --reset
which I found on this forum post.
The panel reloaded correctly resetted, but a crash popped-up meanwhile.

mate-panel-1.5.5-1.fc17 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 17.

Update it with:
