Reassigning to vlgothic-fonts. As you saw, I've modified ebview (as I noticed this) on F-19, however this type of change _must not_ happen on _stable branch_ (i.e. F-18 and F-17).
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=380334 says this happened at Fri Jan 11 2013, this is bad for stable F-18.
Even if someone considers that ebview should not depend on specific fonts, anyway changing dependency like this must not happen on F-18.
As quick'n'dirty workaround one can use vlgothic rpm supplied on Miracle Cow's DVD. Either select ebview during OS installation.
Huh? that old name had been shipped a long time ago and should NOT be referred. I've removed it we spent enough time for migration since renaming happened. the problem isn't that ebview depends on the specific font package. you missed an action for migration. correct name of the package is vlgothic-fonts. not something like CamelCase name. this is mentioned in the naming guidelines too. see https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:NamingGuidelines#Font_Packages
Again, this must not happen on F-18. (In reply to comment #5) > I've removed it we spent enough time for migration since renaming > happened. So that you did not remove Provides before F-18 branch is just your mistake. Don't do it _after_ F-18 is released. > the problem isn't that ebview depends on the specific font > package. Again even with it, remove Provides must not happen after F-18 release. > you missed an action for migration. correct name of the package is > vlgothic-fonts. not something like CamelCase name. this is mentioned in the > naming guidelines too. see > https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:NamingGuidelines#Font_Packages Same above. Again, you missed F-18 release day. Don't break released branch, thank you.
Again I changed ebview on rawhide. But for F-18 this must be fixed on vlgothic side.
Okay, okay. will revert that. I was just quite surprised that you were leaving it 4 years and no one realized that anyway. that may be also my fault.
