Description of problem: When I attempt to change the sided setting from one-sided to either of the two sided settings, as soon as I hit okay or apply, the setting reverts back to one-sided. This is forcing me to use windows for printing and printing to PDF with Linux since I am trying to be a good citizen of the planet and preserve paper as well as save myself a little $$ in the process. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): system-config-printer 1.3.12 How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open system-configure-printer. 2. Configure the Epson Workforce 645 printer. 3. Job Options -> +More -> Sides. Change from One-sided and apply. Actual results: Reverts back to One-Sided Expected results: Setting for duplex printing to be saves so I can use duplex printing on the printer. Additional info:
The configuration tool was incorrectly showing the available choices. Unfortunately, the gutenprint driver is not able to duplex on this model. I've fixed the configuration tool upstream so that it reflects the available choices correctly.
Well, guess unless the gutenprint driver ever supports duplex on the Workforce 645, I'm forced to boot to windows to print. Thanks for the update.
