I built xorg-x11-drv-intel-2.21.11 from my side in my F19 (also built the current intel-gpu-tools) and it looks fine, can you update to xorg-x11-drv-intel-2.21.11 in F19/rawhide?

Comment 22 Steven Haigh 2014-03-22 11:09:43 UTC
It would be nice to punt some of these updates into Fedora 20 - I'm having a hell of a time getting DRI_PRIME working on Fedora 20 (+fedora-updates-testing).

I also currently can't get SNA working with DRI_PRIME. Arch Linux seems to work and use SNA by default for intel graphics mode and (sorta) works with DRI_PRIME.

Feedback would be great - however I'll file specific bugs if I can...

Comment 23 Andrea Oliveri 2014-04-19 00:42:34 UTC
please update package! so we can use multiple monitors with NVIDIA driver and INTEL card via MiniDisplay Port...

Comment 24 Andrea Oliveri 2014-05-19 22:05:45 UTC
in particular please update this package for Fedora 20 with Intel-virtual-output included...

Comment 25 Bill McGonigle 2014-07-21 21:07:20 UTC
I rebuilt:

  xorg-x11-drv-intel-2.99.912-5.fc21

from koji on f20 and it seems to work fine. It definitely solves the screen garbage I was seeing whenever scrolling up in Firefox. This is on an i7-4750HQ based laptop (5200 graphics which was current in new hardware over a year ago - still not usable in f20).

RPMs here if anybody cannot build:

  https://www.bfccomputing.com/downloads/fedora/x11/

We also have CVE-2014-4910 to worry about, which is fixed by this build - I don't see a separate bug for tracking the CVE (but maybe it's hidden). No f20 builds in koji to give karma to, though. Adding Hans since he's been building most recently.

CVE-2014-4910 has only ever been present in 2.99.x releases, so F-20 has never been vulnerable to this.

As for upgrading F-20 to 2.99.x, those are non stable / development releases. The latest stable release is 2.21.15 which F-20 already has.

And rawhide / F-21 has the latest 2.99.912 release, closing this.
