Created attachment 714208 [details] Proposed patch The common brand that is automatically installed with Publican and that is used as a basis for any other brand does not consistently use a different size for chapter, section, and subsection headings. Using a different size for these headings creates a natural relationship between them and is often considered a sign of good typography. With the current brand, the reader is forced to pay attention to the section numbers, which is not very comfortable, especially when reading a complex chapter with other numbered elements like tables or figures. Attached is a patch that adjusts the size of the chapter, section, subsection, and subsubsection headings so that is immediately clear how deep in the document structure the reader is. It also carefully avoids changing the size of the title page or any other headings. I have been using it for some time now and in my opinion, the readability of our documents is significantly better with it.
