Support for the ARM 64 bit CPU architecture (aarch64) was introduced in autoconf 2.69. libdiscid appears to use an earlier version of autoconf, preventing its being built. This can be fixed in of three ways (In order of preference): 1. Work with upstream to migrate the package to autoconf 2.69. 2. Rerun autoconf or autoreconf in %prep or %build prior to running configure. 3. Apply the patch at http://ausil.fedorapeople.org/aarch64/libdiscid/libdiscid-aarch64.patch which updates config.guess and config.sub to recognize aarch64.
I am the maintainer of libdiscid and found this bug by chance. I use autoconf 2.69 for packaging at least since libdiscid 0.3.1 (that is when I started maintaining libdiscid). On a related note: the current version is libdiscid 0.4.1 See http://musicbrainz.org/doc/libdiscid for additional information. We will probably release version 0.5.0 in April (no date yet). All versions should still be backwards compatible to 0.2.2. Things were added to the API in 0.3.0 and 0.4.0 (see ChangeLog, mainly adding ISRC support) We now support autotools and cmake.
I checked 0.5.2 builds right in ARM architechture. See #953158 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 953158 ***
