Created attachment 741659 [details] Kickstart file for livecd-creator Description of problem: Trying to boot a LiveCD fails with an error message about dracut being unable to handle "root=live:CDLABEL=rhel6-test". Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): livecd-tools-13.4-2.el6.x86_64 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a LiveCD using the attached Kickstart file by running "livecd-creator --verbose --config=rhel6-livecd-minimal.ks --fslabel=rhel6-test --cache=/var/cache/live" 2. Boot from the ISO. In the Grub menu, press Tab and remove the "quiet rhgb" boot options. 3. The boot process will stop with an error message saying that dracut cannot handle "root=live:CDLABEL=rhel6-test" Actual results: LiveCD does not boot. Expected results: LiveCD boots. Additional info: This is the same error that was fixed in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=766955#c19 for Fedora. Adding the dmsquash-live line from the above comment to /usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/imgcreate/live.py fixes the problem.
