The procedure "Upgrading JBossWS-CXF" in the switchyard-quickstarts/demos/policy-security-wss-username/readme.md file is obsolete, as the JBoss Enterprise SOA Platform 6 already contains jbossws-cxf-server-4.1.3.Final. The user is not able to restart the server after updating the CXF following the instructions in the "Upgrading JBossWS-CXF" procedure.

Description Pavel Drozd 2013-05-09 13:57:04 UTC
Readme update:
Remove section "Upgrading JBossWS-CXF" - the soa platform 6 contains jbossws-cxf-server-4.1.3.Final, so there is no need to "upgrade" to jbossws-cxf-4.1.1.Final. When I try to use the instruction in the readme and update the CXF, the server will not start again.

When running the example with no options (CXF not updated):
mvn -s exec:java

The expected result is the exception:
Caused by: org.switchyard.exception.SwitchYardException: Required policies have not been provided: authorization clientAuthentication confidentiality

Following exception occurs:
org.apache.ws.security.WSSecurityException: An error was discovered processing the <wsse:Security> header

When running the example with following options (CXF not updated):
mvn exec:java -Dexec.args="confidentiality clientAuthentication"

Following exception occurs:
WARNING [org.apache.cxf.phase.PhaseInterceptorChain] (http-localhost/127.0.0.1:8443-1) Interceptor for {urn:switchyard-quickstart-demo:policy-security-wss-username:0.1.0}WorkService#{urn:switchyard-quickstart-demo:policy-security-wss-username:0.1.0}doWork has thrown exception, unwinding now: org.apache.cxf.ws.policy.PolicyException: These policy alternatives can not be satisfied:
