In rules we previously allowed userspace to say auid=4294967295 to represent 'unset' This change creates an explicit field AUDIT_LOGINUID_SET to represent set vs unset. We still support the legacy setting mechanism. But printing rules needs to be updated. Set using the old way: # auditctl -a exit,always -F arch=b32 -S kill -F pid=1 -F auid=4294967295 But when you print auditctl doesn't understand the new way: # auditctl -l LIST_RULES: exit,always arch=1073741827 (0x40000003) pid=1 (0x1) f24=0 syscall=kill (notice f24=0, that means AUDIT_LOGINUID_SET=0) You probably want to enable the new field setting rules as well...
