Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 970497
Tinyproxy won't start because /etc/sysconfig/network does not exist
Last modified: 2013-09-22 20:01:20 EDT
Description of problem:
Tinyproxy won;t start on F19
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Name : tinyproxy
Version : 1.8.2
Release : 5.fc19
Steps to Reproduce:
1. yum install tinyproxy
/etc/init.d/tinyproxy: line 20: /etc/sysconfig/network: No such file or directory
This part of the initscript imho should go completely away. Let it start if I want it to, don't care if the network is down ...
# Source networking configuration.
# Check that networking is up.
[ "$NETWORKING" = "no" ] && exit 0
This makes the package pretty much useless in f19, right?
