This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for
inclusion in the current release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
Because the affected component is not scheduled to be updated
in the current release, Red Hat is unable to address this
request at this time.

Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to
propose this request, if appropriate, in the next release of
Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Comment 10 Bill Burns 2014-05-27 12:44:51 UTC
Sanjay Rao is our resident Oracle performance expert, however, we only typically work with the 2 most recent RHel releases, so we stopped work on RHEL 5 as RHEL 7 development got underway in earnest. It's been a long time since any work has been done on RHEL 5, so I am not sure we can help much. I cc'ed Sanjay just in case.

cheers,
  Bill
