Description of problem:
Is there a way to skip the Gnome Getting Started video? It was cute as a kitten the first time and I appreciate its value for a first time user as it answers many questions I had the first time I looked at the Gnome 3 desktop. But for scripted installs of of virtual machines for testing other applications it is too much.
Is there a way to script the gnome-initial-setup? Maybe with gsettings or schema override in the Anaconda Kickstart post script?
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
If you are scripting stuff you can just touch ~/.config/gnome-initial-setup-done and both g-i-s and the video will be skipped for that user.
Closing this, bug feel free to re-open if you have a use case that's not fixed by that.
Thank you. With the file name gnome-initial-setup-done I was able to find all kinds of information.
