Description Germano Massullo 2013-06-28 13:49:37 UTC
Description of problem:
Today I received a colorhug I bought on the internet. I used it the first time with the colorhug livecd (based on Fedora). Everything worked well. After that, I used my resident Fedora system, and I upgraded the firmware to 1.2.0, then I rebooted into the livecd. This time, when trying to calibrate the monitor, I obtained the following error message:

dispcal: Error - new_disprd() failed with instrument access failed

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gnome-color-manager-3.6.1-1.fc18.i686

Comment 1 Germano Massullo 2013-06-28 15:06:52 UTC
Confirming the bug on Fedora KDE.
KDE version: 4.10.4
gnome-color-manager-3.6.1-1.fc18.x86_64

I am sure it is 1.2.0 firmware related

Comment 2 Germano Massullo 2013-06-28 15:10:41 UTC
I flashed the old 1.1.8 firmware and the device works correctly

Comment 3 Richard Hughes 2013-12-10 10:04:23 UTC
I think this should now work fine if you update colord and argyllcms to the latest versions.
