Description Mark 2013-07-13 05:53:26 UTC
Description of problem:
SELinux is preventing /usr/lib64/erlang/erts-5.10.1/bin/beam.smp from 'write' accesses on the directory ring.

***** Plugin catchall_labels (83.8 confidence) suggests ********************

If you want to allow beam.smp to have write access on the ring directory
Then you need to change the label on ring
Do
# semanage fcontext -a -t FILE_TYPE 'ring'
where FILE_TYPE is one of the following: rabbitmq_var_lib_t, rabbitmq_var_log_t, rabbitmq_var_run_t.
Then execute:
restorecon -v 'ring'

***** Plugin catchall (17.1 confidence) suggests ***************************

If you believe that beam.smp should be allowed write access on the ring directory by default.
Then you should report this as a bug.
You can generate a local policy module to allow this access.
Do
allow this access for now by executing:
# grep beam.smp /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol
# semodule -i mypol.pp
