Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 986659
some language name to its locale code failed
Last modified: 2013-09-11 22:00:20 EDT
Description of problem:
>>> langtable.language_name(languageId="pt_BR", languageIdQuery="en").encode("UTF-8")
but following is failed
>>> langtable.languageId(languageName="Portuguese (Brazil)")
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Steps to Reproduce:
Let me add some more information.
As we see that language_name() picks locale name and gives correct language name for it. I need now reverse of this to be provided by languageId()
If I get some language name output for pt_BR using language_name() then same language name when given as input to languageId() should return pt_BR locale code.
