Description Andrew Schultz 2013-08-05 10:35:40 EDT
xine-ui is available in EPEL for EL6 (xine-ui-0.99.6-32.el6.x86_64), but it doesn't work happily because it can't display its own logo on startup and opens dialogs complaining about it until you quit. If you open xine with a file it can play, then it will play that and then try to display the logo (and fail). The logo is an MPEG1 stream and so (in Fedora) requires the xine-lib-extras-freeworld package from rpmfusion. This package is unavailable for EL6.
