Description Attila Fazekas 2013-08-20 07:59:30 UTC
pip version <=1.4 does not cleans up the build directory, it causes issues on upgrade.

You can see the details here:
https://github.com/pypa/pip/issues/709

It is fixed in pip>=1.4 .

Also I like to point out that pip 1.3 does not work with git 1.8.3. For example installing a requirement from a git repo will cause a pip error. One example of that is described in http://mikeknoop.com/how-to-fix-latest-pipgit-incompatibility/

Comment 2 Fedora Admin XMLRPC Client 2014-03-24 14:57:27 UTC
This package has changed ownership in the Fedora Package Database. Reassigning to the new owner of this component.

Current rawhide has pip 1.5, closing.
