+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #221981 +++

Description of problem:

fetchmail issued an advisory fetchmail-SA-2006-02 fixing numerous issues
with TLS support. Two of them raise an opportiunity for an attacker to do
a MiM attack. See the attached e-mail from mitr for more details.

fetchmail-6.3.6-1.fc5 has been pushed for fc5, which should resolve this issue.  If these problems are still present in this version, then please make note of it in this bug report.
