A flaw was found in the way __skb_recv_datagram() processed skbs with no payload when MSG_PEEK was requested. An unprivileged local user could use this flaw to cause local denial of service. Statement: This issue did not affect the version of Linux kernel as shipped with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 and 6. This issue did affect the version of Linux kernel as shipped with Red Hat Enterprise MRG 2.
