Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures assigned an identifier CVE-2013-2482 to the following vulnerability:

The AMPQ dissector in Wireshark 1.6.x before 1.6.14 and 1.8.x before 1.8.6 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop) via a malformed packet.

Statement:

Not Vulnerable. This issue does not affect the version of wireshark as shipped with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 and 6.
