Description Murray McAllister 2014-09-29 00:31:31 EDT
A denial of service issue was discovered in ctags. This could lead to excessive CPU and disk space consumption.

For local uses of ctags, this is not much of an issue as there are many ways to consume CPU and disk space.

It was reported that version 5.6 (which is in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5) is not affected. Version 5.8 is reported to be affected.

ctags-5.8-16.fc20 has been pushed to the Fedora 20 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.

Koji contains builds with this fix for F20, F21, and F22. The F20 version has been pushed to stable, and the F22 version is automatically included. But the F21 version isn't available in the repositories. Shouldn't it have been?
