Description Laura Pardo 2018-03-22 20:46:44 UTC
An issue was discovered in Exempi before 2.4.3. The PostScript_Support::ConvertToDate function in XMPFiles/source/FormatSupport/PostScript_Support.cpp allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (invalid pointer dereference and application crash) via a crafted .ps file.

Comment 1 Laura Pardo 2018-03-22 20:56:47 UTC
Created exempi tracking bugs for this issue:

Affects: fedora-all [bug 1559578]

Comment 3 Riccardo Schirone 2018-05-04 13:00:16 UTC
Statement:

This issue did not affect the versions of Exempi as shipped with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and 7 as they did not include support for PostScript format.
