This CVE-numbered bug, i.e. that someone took the trouble to create a CVE for an emulator of old computer music AdLib/AdPlug, is an excellent example of the disease seen by kernel maintainer Greg Kroah-Hartmann in the linked article: https://lwn.net/Articles/801157/ Has anyone made a *serious* threat evaluation of this bug? Please tell me off for waiving the CVE bug as bogus so I can learn a lesson from this.
This CVE Bugzilla entry is for community support informational purposes only as it does not affect a package in a commercially supported Red Hat product. Refer to the dependent bugs for status of those individual community products.
