A buffer overflow vulnerability in tiff12_print_page() in devices/gdevtfnx.c of Artifex Software GhostScript v9.50 allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via a crafted PDF file. This is fixed in v9.51.

Affects: fedora-all [bug 1870170]
If the size variable is not a multiple of 6, a heap buffer overflow -> out-of-bounds read could occur in the tiff12_print_page() routine of /devices/gdevtfnx.c. size is received from a printer device. This flaw could be exploited via a crafted PDF file input. The patch adds 5 to the size prior to heap allocation to avoid this.
