Vulnerability in the MySQL Server product of Oracle MySQL (component: InnoDB). Supported versions that are affected are 5.7.33 and prior and 8.0.23 and prior. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows high privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise MySQL Server. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of MySQL Server. MariaDB upstream indicates that this issue was fixed in MariaDB version 10.2.18. The rh-mariadb102-mariadb packages in Red Hat Software Collections were updated to the fixed upstream version via the following erratum: https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:1258
Statement: In Red Hat OpenStack Platform, because the flaw has a lower impact and the fix would require a substantial amount of development, no update will be provided at this time for the RHOSP mysql package.
