Description Pedro Sampaio 2022-02-18 13:21:54 UTC
A heap-buffer-overflow in pcf2bdf, versions >= 1.05 allows an attacker to trigger unsafe memory access via a specially crafted PCF font file. This out-of-bound read may lead to an application crash, information disclosure via program memory or other context-dependent impact.

Created bdftopcf tracking bugs for this issue:

Affects: fedora-all [bug 2056030]

Comment 2 Peter Hutterer 2022-02-21 03:04:57 UTC
See my commment in the other bug. We don't package pcf2bdf, it's a different git repo to bdftopcf

Comment 3 Peter Hutterer 2022-03-02 01:05:01 UTC
Closing as NOTABUG, we do not ship this component in Fedora
