Description OSIDB Bzimport 2026-07-27 14:37:22 UTC
Netty is a network application framework for development of protocol servers and clients. Prior to 4.1.136.Final, the WebSocket handshaker in netty-codec-http fails to properly validate protocol version information during the WebSocket upgrade process. An attacker can exploit this confusion to bypass security checks or negotiate unexpected protocol versions, potentially leading to protocol-level attacks. This issue is fixed in versions 4.1.136.Final and later.
