OpenVDB 13.1.0 introduces a shared-library SONAME change: libopenvdb.so.13.0 -> libopenvdb.so.13.1 This tracker coordinates the OpenVDB 13.1.0 ABI transition and rebuilds of affected Fedora packages. Target branches: Fedora Rawhide Fedora 45 The currently identified transition set is: openvdb OpenImageIO luxcorerender manifold openvkl usd blender Direct runtime consumers of libopenvdb.so.13.0: OpenImageIO blender luxcorerender usd Additional source packages that BuildRequire openvdb-devel: manifold openvkl OpenVDB 13.1.0 provides: libopenvdb.so.13.1()(64bit) Planned rebuild order: Stage 1: openvdb Stage 2: OpenImageIO luxcorerender manifold openvkl Stage 3: usd Stage 4: blender Dependency relationships: openvdb -> OpenImageIO -> usd -> blender openvdb -> manifold ------------> blender openvdb -> luxcorerender openvdb -> openvkl usd BuildRequires OpenImageIO-devel. blender BuildRequires: OpenImageIO-devel usd-devel manifold-devel The transition will be performed using coordinated side tags. Completion criteria: 1. openvdb 13.1.0 builds successfully. 2. All direct consumers are rebuilt. 3. manifold and openvkl build successfully against openvdb-devel 13.1. 4. usd is rebuilt against the updated OpenImageIO/OpenVDB stack. 5. blender is rebuilt after OpenImageIO, manifold, and usd. 6. No external affected package still requires: libopenvdb.so.13.0()(64bit) 7. Rebuilt direct consumers require: libopenvdb.so.13.1()(64bit) 8. Applicable tests pass. 9. The completed side tag can be merged without broken dependencies. Reproducible: Always
