Description of problem: When using the U-Boot we provide in Fedora 20, the load addresses are incorrectly set, causing the system to hang after loading the kernel. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): uboot-tools-2013.10-2.fc20 How reproducible: everytime Steps to Reproduce: 1. When booting on the beaglebone black, hold the button above the MicroSD to load U-Boot from the MicroSD card. Actual results: System will hang after 'starting the kernel' Expected results: Booted system. Additional info: When testing with: kernel_addr_r=0x80300000 ramdisk_addr_r=0x82000000 fdt_addr=0x81600000 The system booted as expected.
Proposing a a FE, this is something we expect to work.
+1 FE: this is a useful feature in one of our deliverables that we can't fix with an update, and the fix should be fairly unlikely to break anything else given where it's located.
