Description of problem: There is no granular control for limiting changes in Configuration Channels. Either you're Configuration God or you're nothing. I would like to give Web Administrators limited control to specific Configuration Channels, and in turn, limit the actions which could be taken by the users in a secure fashion. Parameters for a Limited Configuration Channel Role: Add/Delete existing nodes to a channel: yes/no Add Configuration Files to a channel: yes/no. - If yes, it uses a paths.allowed list (like /etc/httpd, /var/www) Modify existing Configuration Files: yes/no - If yes, does NOT need paths.allowed function, assumed OK to edit. Schedule Changes to be deployed: yes/no List of which Configuration Channels this Role is allowed to modify. Thanks for reviewing my suggested enhancement! Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Additional info:
