Description of problem: "README-winsdk.txt" file is outdated; it includes prerequisites and instructions how to build the C++ examples in Visual Studio 2010 and 2008, but information about building in Visual Studio 2012 (which is supported) and needed CMake version to create C++ projects is missing. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): qpid-cpp-win-3.32.3.1-1 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Unzip the qpid-cpp-win package. 2. Open the "README-winsdk.txt" file and look at the content. Actual results: Information contained in the file is not up to date. Expected results: All information in packed documentation should be up to date.
Indeed the Readme is stale. Fixed upstream at r1691070 The upstream jira QPID-6641 technically is about Visual Studio 2013 but the patch is a step including Visual Studio 2012, boost, and cmake.
"README-winsdk.txt" file is updated and gets correct information to users. Verified on qpid-cpp-win-3.34.3.1-1. --> VERIFIED
