Description of problem: Windows 10 1803 show BSOD if guest having copy of host CPU configuration on Zen processors Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): # libvirtd --version libvirtd (libvirt) 4.6.0 I found related discussion here: https://forum.level1techs.com/t/windows-10-1803-as-guest-with-qemu-kvm-bsod-under-install/127425 And tried workaround with set CPU core2duo configuration for guest. This workaround works for me. And it look like Windows problem because peoples said that Windows 10 1709 not affected by this issue and work even if guest having copy of host CPU configuration, but I can't check this. If this is so, then you need report it to Microsoft. === my config: $ inxi -bM System: Host: localhost.localdomain Kernel: 4.18.0-0.rc8.git2.1.local.fc29.x86_64 x86_64 bits: 64 Desktop: Gnome 3.29.90 Distro: Fedora release 29 (Rawhide) Machine: Type: Desktop Mobo: ASUSTeK model: ROG STRIX X470-I GAMING v: Rev 1.xx serial: <root required> UEFI: American Megatrends v: 0901 date: 07/23/2018 CPU: 8-Core: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X type: MT MCP speed: 2447 MHz min/max: 2200/3700 MHz Graphics: Card-1: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD/ATI] Vega 10 XT [Radeon RX Vega 64] driver: amdgpu v: kernel Display: wayland server: Fedora Project X.org 11.0 driver: amdgpu resolution: 3840x2160~60Hz OpenGL: renderer: Radeon RX Vega (VEGA10 DRM 3.26.0 4.18.0-0.rc8.git2.1.local.fc29.x86_64 LLVM 6.0.1) v: 4.5 Mesa 18.1.5 Network: Card-1: Intel I211 Gigabit Network driver: igb Card-2: Realtek RTL8822BE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WiFi adapter driver: r8822be Drives: Local Storage: total: 11.35 TiB used: 4.22 TiB (37.2%) Info: Processes: 542 Uptime: 2h 47m Memory: 31.36 GiB used: 26.28 GiB (83.8%) Shell: bash inxi: 3.0.20
