Comment 2 Petr Viktorin (pviktori) 2022-11-09 13:48:13 UTC
There is no EPEL8 branch for this package.

Comment 3 Miro Hrončok 2022-11-09 13:53:19 UTC
There is an EPEL7 branch of this package that is so old that it is not usable with JupyterApp.

Comment 4 Lumír Balhar 2023-01-19 15:54:26 UTC
It seems to me that there is a vulnerable version in EPEL 9. Reopening and reassigning to the EPEL maintainer of jupyter-core.

Comment 5 Lumír Balhar 2023-01-19 16:22:19 UTC
The version in EPEL 9 is the same as in F37 so this fix should work here as well: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-jupyter-core/pull-request/14
