Description Nickolay V. Shmyrev 2006-11-03 08:33:58 UTC
Description of problem:

Due to this change:
http://mail.gnome.org/archives/devel-announce-list/2006-July/msg00001.html
gnome-vfs2 became uncompatible with libbonobo 2.14, so when I update evolution
for example, it should require new libbonobo.

When evolution tries to open a mail with attachment on my system, it quits with
message:

/usr/bin/evolution: symbol lookup error:
/usr/lib/evolution/2.8/components/libevolution-mail.so: undefined symbol:
gnome_vfs_mime_get_all_components

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

evolution-2.8.0-7.fc6
libbonobo-2.14.0-1

How reproducible:

Comment 1 Matthew Barnes 2007-10-06 04:13:27 UTC
Fixed (finally) in evolution-2.12.0-6.fc8.

Also opened an upstream bug to add the appropriate configure checks:
