python-beaker-1.5.3-2.fc14.src.rpm Failed To Build From Source against the rawhide tree. See http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FTBFS for more information. If you believe this is actually a bug in another package, do NOT change the component in this bug or close this bug. Instead, add the appropriate bug number from the other package to the "Depends on" line in this bug. If the other package does not yet have a bug created that you think matches, please create one. Doing so helps us properly track bugs and their dependencies, just as we track package dependencies. (If you close this bug, and the other package is not fixed before the next FTBFS run, a new bug will get created. Please follow the above advice to avoid such duplication.)

This is going to be tough to work around. It appears (at first glance) to be related to build machine load. These tests allow 1 second worth of "fudge" to happen when testing cache item creation and such. On the build machine, it looks like it'd need in excess of 3 seconds just to execute the few lines of python that look up the timing values and then do the comparison. I'm not sure how much we want to crank up that fudge time as it might actually invalidate the test and hide a different issue.
I've rebuilt each of the failing builds at least 6 times in the past week, on both architectures. I'm pretty sure it would have attempted to get built on different build hosts, with various numbers of cores (often 4, some builders have more) and amount of memory (2-8GB, plus up to 16GB swap), but also with various other build activity running in parallel. So IMHO this isn't a small transient error that can be trivially attributed to build server load.
It just failed on a local build, so I'll investigate. Thanks!
