Description of problem: I preupgraded from F13 to F14. Now KDE logout dialog only shows "Logout", but no "Restart Computer" and "Turn Off Computer". F14 switched to systemd, so my guess this is related. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): kdebase-workspace-4.5.0-2.fc14.i686 How reproducible: always
Yeah i believe it's an issue w. systemd. Could you try booting w. a different init. system?
How?
And how are you starting KDE? KDM? GDM? Some other DM? startx?
The output of: ck-list-sessions can help debugging the problem, especially if you're not using KDM. (KDM has its own shutdown/reboot mechanism. When KDM is not used, in Fedora, we use ConsoleKit to shutdown/reboot.)
I'm using GDM. I'll check this again after updating the system to the Fedora 14 alpha release.
Whatever the problem was, it is now fixed in F14 Alpha.
